Friendly and wonderful staff-Their workers are super friendly. When you go to Angel Cakes Bakery you feel like you are apart if their family, not like just another customer, or just another dollar.Excellent products-They have excellent products. I ordered a carrot cake with cream cheese icing for my friends birthday and it was so very delicious. I ordered a carrot cake with buttercream for my birthday and I forgot I was eating a cake it was so delicious I felt like I was eating something from heaven. Health facts-Angel Cakes is very serious on giving you wholesome products.They make everything there on site from scratch everyday. They use no preservatives. Taste-When you eat there products you know from the taste that you are not be eating something that was made three days or more before and sitting on the shelf. Angel Cakes use of no preservatives give their products a freshly baked taste.Prayer-The owners Joe, Maryann, their daughter, and staff will stop what they are doing and pray for you no matter what is going on.

Angel Cakes Bakery is absolutely wonderful! I don't know where to begin. They have been providing me and my family with baked goods for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Joe Lombardo not only made my wedding cake but he also delivered it all the way to Fredericksburg. Besides offering some of the best tasting sweets in VA, the customer service is phenominal.

I just visited Angel Cakes and agree with most of the comments posted by Marsha W. The do accept all major credit and debit cards so the cash and check deprived can also enjoy!

Angel Cakes offers a wide variety of baked good common to most bakeries: cannoli, muffins, cookies and other small pasteries. Where Angel Cakes shines, though, is in custom cakes. The baker/artists are able to create a custom cake to match virtually any theme or party decor, and with less notice than other bakeries require for their "off-the-shelf" cakes. The cakes taste good, too (something that cannot be taken for granted with some bakeries!).One caveat: Angel Cakes does not take credit cards of any kind. It's not a problem, but something one might want to know about before heading out. ETA: Angel Cakes has begun accepting plastic since I wrote this review. Yay! Even easier to buy yummy treats!
